City Center Apartment in Malaga, Spain

There are so many places to choose from in Malaga it can be difficult to narrow down. Trust me, it took awhile to narrow down where exactly to stay and which Airbnb to choose. After some research and reading the reviews, I decided on a 2 bedroom apartment located in Centro Historico.

Location

This 2 bedroom apartment is located in the center of the city, Centro Historico on the 3rd floor. It truly is in the center of everything. You can go right out the door and there is nightlife, shopping, restaurants, and more steps away. One particular morning I went across a very small street for breakfast. An evening I went to get some dinner right around the corner.

The location was pretty great. Took a moment to find it since the taxi dropped us off and instructed us to walk. The street it is located on, cars can’t go down. Many streets in that area are like that so rolling luggage through the streets is pretty much inevitable.

City Center Apartment

The elevator up is pretty small. 2 people at a time unless you stand a certain way would be the limit. Upon entering the apartment is smelled really nice and clean. As soon as you walked in the first bedroom was straight ahead. The room had a closet with full-length mirror. No windows, but a window was right outside the room. In my opinion, the bedroom needed some wall decals putting up. The walls were really bare and I think that a wall decal would’ve made all the difference! A fresh lick of paint wouldn’t hurt either!

Next to the bedroom is a nice sized bathroom. There were plenty of amenities including a hair dryer, lotion, body wash, first aid kit, and more. No bath tub, but a nice stand up shower. Then there is another bedroom that is slightly bigger than the first. Lots of natural light from the windows. A huge closest with extra towels, blankets, sheets, playpen, and a beach bag ready to go was in it.

The kitchen, living room, and dining room is all open. The couch can be turned into a bed for 2 more people to sleep on. The kitchen came with cups, pots, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. There was also tea, coffee, honey, and sugar. A dishwasher and washer/dryer was in the kitchen as well. I did use the washer, but couldn’t figure out the dryer portion so I just hung my stuff up to dry. Both bedrooms and the living room area have air conditioning that works great!

An Overview

The apartment was really nice and clean and the stay was enjoyed. Although you could hear all the street noise from the living room and front bedroom until the wee hours, I managed to get some sleep. The location was excellent. The owner was always reachable and gave recommendations and answered any questions or concerns had. It would have been cool if the room I was in had a television since I didn’t always want to be in the livingroom room. I would stay there again.
