Start Your Beauty Resolution Now With These Products
If you know me then you know I am a sucker for beauty products. If you didn’t know, now you do! So I decided to share some of the many products that I really like. These are products I use before, during, and after my travels. Even better good for both women and men!
I am also always getting compliments on my skin, honestly, all of that starts on the inside! I drink a lot of water. I drink it more than anything. I have recently been trying out Boxed Water. Not only good for me and you, but the environment as well.
Drinking Boxed Water reduces the carbon footprint in the environment and is pure with the PH level being very close to neutral. All in all it is good tasting water. Although it is too big to go through security at an airport it is great to take on a train ride or a road trip!
I was looking for a serum to try while browsing around Ulta I found Derma E. I was attracted to the brand because they are gluten, soy, and cruelty free. I ended up purchasing the Vitamin C Concentrated Serum. It is supposed to deliver hydration, brighten skin, and boost collagen.
I love the smell and it instantly brightens my face. Sometimes I will use it with no facial cream and go to bed. It does leave my hands a little sticky at first, but that quickly goes away. It is also small enough at 2 fl OZ to throw in a carry-on suitcase which is my preferred luggage.
I just learned about Bloom Mineral Beauty not too long ago. The products come from Jordan and have natural minerals from the Dead Sea! They are also paraben, cruelty, GMO, and petroleum free. I tried out the Hydrating Almond Scrub and Shielding Body Lotion.
The Almond Scrub was amazing! I used it on my face and it glided on so smoothly and smelled really good. I could feel the pieces of almond, it all just felt very good. My face looked bright and felt so soft. You can use it all over your body and with winter setting in, exfoliation is great.
The Shielding Body Lotion felt nice and light. It glides on smoothly and leaves your skin soft. Although to big for a carry-on it can fit in your checked bag easily or of course on that road trip of yours. The Almond Scrub just makes the cut at 3.4 OZ and I will happily put that in my carry-on.
The Clarisonic is a great way to clean your face rather than using your hands. There is a smaller one, but the Mia 2 was a good price and easy to travel with as well. I just throw it in my bag. There are different brush heads to fit your skin needs. I have a couple of different ones and some others I would like to try. I use the Mia 2 with different facial cleansers.
Speaking of facial cleansers, I found this one at Ulta in the Korean beauty section. One of the sales associates said she had heard great things about it, so of course I wanted to try it. It says it clears out pores which is always a great thing in my book. A little product of Egg White Pore Foam goes along way and I use it with my Clarisonic. After washing my face it feels so soft and clean!
I am constantly washing my hands, because of this my hands tend to dry. Not to mention winter is approaching and lotion is just necessary. One such hand cream I have been introduced to is by Scentbird. While writing this I am wearing it and I have to say I keep smelling my hands because it smells too good! Each one has their own special notes!
Scentbird has put real fruit extract, hydrating vitamins, and aloe leaf into their hand cream. It is also animal cruelty, sulfates, and parabens free. Also typically in the winter your fragrance doesn’t hold as well because your body heat isn’t intensifying the scent. These hand creams help with that! Both are very creamy and feel rich and smell amazing. Honestly I feel they could be substituted for a fragrance and I wish they came in bigger bottles. Of course they are small enough to travel with including in my carry-on! I would love to try the other 4 scents they have too!
If you want to keep you skin smooth, hydrated, soft, and acne free, and smelling good these products are sure to help. Even better is that I am able to travel with them in some shape or form. I highly suggest trying these products out. I have so many more products I use and have tried so of course I will write about more in the future.
Have you tried any of these products?

Where can I purchase boxed water from? One of my resolutions is to drink more water and the guilt of the amount of plastic I’m going through is starting to weigh me down! Also, oooh is the Derma E serum expensive? Because I’ve been looking for a serum to add to my routine for a while now. Great post.

The link to their site is above with all the information of where you can purchase it. You won’t feel guilty any more using them. Especially since its made out of recyclable materials and a ton of other reasons. No it wasn’t expensive, it was about $25 and a couple of pumps goes a long way.

I see boxed water every once in awhile and wonder about it. Never tried it. I prefer to really reduce my carbon footprint and skip buying water in any package. I carry refillable water bottles and fill up from water fountains. I love that you say beauty starts within. Yeah, indeed!
Holly Dayz
Thank you. It definitely does! It is good water. That is great, I also do the same and refill at fountains. Seeing as many people do buy water this is a much better option.

Boxed water caught my eye for sure. I have never come across boxed water in physical form (haven’t seen one till date). Keeping hydrated especially during travels is very important as a lot of toxins are flushed out.
Personally dont think my partner would mind the vitamin C serum. She’s been looking for a safe product for sensitive skin.
Holly Dayz
Yes, hydration is very important. Ahh well check their website and see if you can find it near you or order some. It is a great product! I use it everyday.

Fun hearing about your beauty regimen. I have to keep mine as basic as possible and scent free. However it’s a vicarious thrill to hear about the delights of the hand cream (mine tend to get very dry too.) No scrubs or masks for me with sensitive skin ready to erupt. Oh well.
Holly Dayz
Oh yea the hand cream is pretty great. Too bad you have to go scent free. All of these products do have a lot of great ingredients other than that.

Haven’t tried any of those, but I love the sound of that almond scrub! I’m a sucker for the smell of almonds 🙂
Holly Dayz
It is a really good scrub. I was surprised at how smooth is went on.

I’m a sucker for new beauty products, too, and I really love the packaging of those Scentbird hand creams. I’ve tried the boxed water, which tastes good and is such a good idea. My daughter swears by the Clarisonic!
Holly Dayz
The boxed water is really good. The Clarisonic is pretty great so I understand why she does.

I am not sure what beauty products have to do with travel blogging!! I do drink lots of water and do so from a refillable bottle – no need for boxes. It’s amazing that you are so interested in scrubs and lotions. I have the brands I like and buy small ones for travel.
Holly Dayz
They have plenty to do with it seeing as traveling encompasses a plethora of things! I would assume you pack different things when you travel. I am glad you use a refillable bottle, however many people don’t. If they did then we wouldn’t see so many plastic bottles everywhere, so yea there is a nice need for them in the market place. I am so glad you have brands that you like, as do I, but there are plenty of others out there that are great too.

Technically! Traveling Blogs are about beauty, food, fashion and etc.. That has to do with traveling! She mention her traveling products as well. To me box water is interesting but we all have our own opinions so..
Btw great blog post enjoyed the Beauty products listed! Definitely wanna have the right products on travel and at home. Love to but some box water.✊

I haven’t done any sort of fancy beauty routine in years. However, I’ve been wondering about the Clarisonic. Does it exfoliate? Do you use it every time you wash your face? I think the Egg White foamer with the clarisonic sounds kind of luxurious and awesome. I really want to try it!
Holly Dayz
Oh it is never too late to start. You can get a brush for the Clarisonic that is geared towards exfoliation. They have different brush heads for different things. Not every time because some of my facial cleansers are annoying to clean out of the Clarisonic brush head, but 95% of the time I do. The Egg White is really great!

Where i can get some Scentbird. My hands are constantly dry and it only gets worse in the Winter. Good to know about the taste of boxed water, I’ve seen them at Whole Foods and was curious about the taste. You are right though, the key to great skin starts with drinking lots of water!!
Holly Dayz
I put the link above. Mine dry out too. My skin dries in general with the weather and on the plane,I hate it. Oh the water tastes really good, try it out!

I had no idea water is being sold in boxed packaging now – It’s a great idea reduces the use of plastic bottles and reduces the carbon footprint for which I’m all for. I don’t think I’ve seen it anywhere in England before though.
Holly Dayz
It is a great way to reduce. Hopefully it becomes more widespread.

Seems like you have quite the beauty regimen. A lot of the products listed are geared toward female skin and readers and I bet they are awesome products. I might even give the Scentbird a try.
Holly Dayz
Actually most can be used by men. There is a Clarisonic for men called the Alpha that is a nice travel size as well. Scentbird is really good, I’ve found myself carrying it with me everywhere now.
Jenna
Always so interesting to see what products other people love! I have a Clarisonic too and really like it. The almond scrub sounds nice and I like that it is paraben, cruelty, GMO, and petroleum free, too. The hand cream from Scentbird sounds wonderful too! I might have to try it out!!
WanderingCarol
I have such problem skin and travelling is so hard on it. These products sounds good to try – I love the sound of the Vitamin C serum. I haven’t tried the Clarisonic but have heard a lot about it.
