New York City always has something going on. Lately more and more things have been opening up for the masses to enjoy. Currently, as of now, to enjoy the indoor activities you must be vaccinated. Check with the establishments you are visiting before going for up to date information! If you are coming here for the holiday season and beyond like many do, here are 5 fun things to do when visiting New York City!
Harry Potter Store New York

I write this as the Prisoner of Azkaban is on television and I watch it for the millionth time. New York City has opened up the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products in one spot. They have many different experiences such as the Butter Beer Bar and the Wand Shop. The store also has VR experiences that include Wizards Take Flight and Chaos at Hogwarts.
Edge NYC

The Edge is the highest outdoor deck in the Western Hemisphere. It has beautiful and expansive views of New York City 1,110 feet up. There is a glass floor, champagne, bar and more. I have even seen them holding yoga classes there.
City Climb

So now that you know about The Edge, they have recently opened City Climb at the Edge. It is said to be the highest open air ascent climb in the world. It is more than 1,200 feet up. This experience has you climb up and then lean out over a 45 degree angle as you live life on the edge. After your accomplishment you are given a medal and video of your climb.
Summit ONE Vanderbuilt

This is New York City’s newest observation deck. There are 3 different experiences that can be had in the daytime or evening. At 1,401 feet tall it is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Midtown and in the top 30 of the world’s tallest buildings. It also boasts the largest glass floor elevators in the world. They have created one of the largest art experiences called Air. Other experiences include Levitation, Ascent, and Apres.
Little Island

This new public park pier has over 350 species of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Inside the park there is an amphitheater that can hold up to 687 people. It is a great place to relax and get some lunch on the water or try out one of their food establishments on the premises. Another great photo opp in the city on this manmade Little Island. I will have more on Little Island coming soon!
