Delicious eats at Fat Boy’s Burrito Co. in New York

This place came highly recommended by a friend of mine, so I definitely wanted to see what it was all about. I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect as I didn’t peak at the menu, but it didn’t disappoint. In fact, I wish I had some right now!

Fat Boy’s Burrito Co. says that they are a fast-casual Mexican restaurant. They have 3 different locations for you to choose from, some bigger than others. There are plenty of places to shop, eat and hang out in the area of the locations. Upon walking up to it, there was choice to sit outside or inside. It was nice and spacious with an industrial look and very clean.

Upon walking up to place my order, I noticed they also had a full bar. I was told that they make some strong drinks. I had no idea what to order. The menu was 2 sided with a lot to choose from, so I asked an employee for her recommendation. She recommended the Fat Cali. This was a bowl that had marinated steak, guac, fries, rice, and pico de gallo. I opted out on the pico de gallo.

My friend ordered the Fat Mac which was also a bowl. It had country fried chicken fingers, mac & cheese, onion strings, black beans, burrito slaw, extra queso, and Fat Boy sauce. It looked good and I heard it in fact was. Upon ordering they give you a number to place on your table and will then bring it to you when it is ready.

The food came quickly and it was delicious. They give a good amount of food and I was full. Enough that we didn’t finish and took the leftovers to go. It was a really nice place, I loved the look and vibe. I even saw a funny sign in the bathroom. I would absolutely visit again, I loved what I ordered, but want to check out some other things on the menu and of course report back.
