App of the Month: Hopper
There are so many sites and apps to help you find the best airfare prices. Last time I told you about how SkyScanner works to find the best flight deals. Saving money is always a great thing, especially on flights. Now I want to introduce you to another app that will aid in that quest, Hopper.
Hopper is available on both IOS and Android devices and is free. It was also named the best travel app of 2015 by Apple. Hence it is a great app to help you find a deal. I have used this app several times to help others find the best price for their upcoming trips.
The app is very easy to use. Simply put in your departure city and your arrival city. You can also choose the currency and it will automatically take you to a calendar. The calendar is color coded and informs what is a good deal and what is expensive. Green is going to be the best price where as red is going to cost you a pretty penny. Always keep in mind that the more flexible you are, the easier it will be for you to save on flights.
Once you choose the dates of your trip the app will tell you the lowest price available as well as if you you should book now or wait. It also will give you a price prediction. There is a “tips” section that tells you cheaper travel dates and by how much. Hopper also will show you if there is a nearby airport around and how much more or less it will cost to fly there instead.
Once you have decided what you are going to do it will give you a list of flights and their information. In case you are looking for the prices to go down or you just want to keep an eye on it, you can just have the app watch it and alert you. If you want to go ahead and buy it right away you can do so as well. If getting to your destination quicker is important it will tell you which flight to consider and how much it will cost you. Once you book your trips through the app it also saves the information in the trips section.
The Hopper App is pretty informative and is a great when searching to find a deal on a flight. Its easy to use interface should have you searching for your next deal in no time. This is why the app of the month is Hopper.

Wow, can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this app! Love how visual it is, makes it much easier to book. Advising on whether or not to wait is definitely a feature I can appreciate, especially when I’m flying on carriers like JetBlue so often.
