Wedding Bells at Taco Bell Cantina, Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada is known as the “Wedding Capitol of the World.” You can pretty much get married almost anywhere. It can be as big or as small as you want. Vegas is also great for any budget. You can get married for a little or a lot.
Jesse and Jenni decided Las Vegas was the place for them. They chose to get married at the Taco Bell Cantina on Las Vegas Blvd. This isn’t a Taco Bell you may be used to seeing, this one is a 2 story restaurant with a modernized design. It is also open 24 hours a day! The couple also had a fun reception in a hotel suite!
Where are you two located?
Minnesota
What made you pick Las Vegas?
We love going to Vegas! We know we wanted to keep the wedding small and still do a destination that everyone could afford. Our thought with a destination wedding was being able to spoil everyone who did come and who are really close to us rather than inviting a ton of people to a traditional wedding here.
What made the ceremony space special?
We got married at the Taco Bell Cantina on the strip. It was unique because it is a fast food place but honestly people were shocked at how nice it was. I (Jenni) am a huge lover of Taco Bell which is the reason we chose it. They close down the entire second floor of the restaurant and go through a mobile company called Flora Pop for the minister. It was super simple and the ceremony was cute and short. We ordered tacos for everyone after the ceremony to hold them over until the reception. They don’t make you go through a certain photographer either which a lot of the chapels in Vegas do. We hired Vincent from New Romantic to take our photos.
What made the reception space stand out?
We actually had a cocktail reception in a Horizon suite at Mandalay Bay. It is a 1500 or so square foot suite complete with multiple couches, many places to sit and a bar. It was perfect for around the 30 people we had. Masterpiece Cuisine catered heavy appetizers to our suite, and we hired a bartender through Bar Spirit. All our liquor we bought from Total Wine when got to Las Vegas. We also had Elvis come and perform (Roland from the Mobile Minister). He was awesome!
Did you do any DIY projects for your ceremony or reception? If so what?
I made my own bouquet out of sola wood flowers and transported it to Vegas. I also made welcome bags for everyone and filled them with hangover kits and just general information about Vegas.
What type of decor did you have?
Only battery operated candles which were put around the suite.
Did you have a theme or color scheme? If so what was it?
Not really, I didn’t have a wedding party or very many decorations or anything.
What kind of cake did you have?
We bought several desserts from Freeds Bakery. I did a small Married in Vegas cake, but the real hits were the Oreo cheesecake and the flourless chocolate torte. I figured wedding cake can get kind of boring so why not do something different.
Bride’s most memorable moment?
I think it was when Elvis showed up and surprised everyone at the reception. My husband’s grandma LOVES Vegas and she was so excited. It was fun to see everyone having such a great time.
Groom’s most memorable moment?
Seeing Jenni for the first time. She looked amazing! Otherwise, the suite where we had our reception was pretty awesome. We definitely did Vegas right.
Is there something you wish you had done differently or didn’t stress so much about?
No, it came out pretty perfect. The only bummer was it wasn’t warm enough the day after to go to the cabana we had booked for everyone at the MGM pool. We did the brunch instead, but we love going to the pools in Vegas.
What was your budget and guest count?
27 guests. I think overall we spent about $10,000. This included a ‘Disco Bus’ the night before for three hours and dinner the night before for everybody at In N Out Burger. The Disco bus is the best party bus ever, DJ and bar right on board. Everyone had a blast and it kind of broke the ice for everyone to meet before the wedding. We also bought those that were still around the day after the wedding brunch at the buffet at the Cosmopolitan, the Wicked Spoon.
Any tips for those planning a wedding at the same or similar location?
My main tip is to check out the Las Vegas wedding message boards on websites like the Knot, and join the Las Vegas wedding Facebook groups. These resources were incredibly helpful and I never would have even thought to have my reception in a suite had I not read those posts.
Did you have a honeymoon? If so where?
We didn’t do one immediately after the wedding. We are going on a cruise to the Caribbean this January instead.

I would never have imagined an upscale Taco Bell. That’s super cool for a low key but still amazing wedding. Totally unique and a great find.
Holly Dayz
Right! Nice looking Taco Bell for sure. I love how unique this wedding was. It looked like fun.
Stacie
Say what? Now that’s what I call a quick and easy wedding to go. Get it? Lol, I’m silly.
Holly Dayz
lol, yea and it looked really nice. I like that they got to really make the reception their own.
Kita Bryant
Now this is different. If I loved Taco bell like that I would definitely be there so I need the Five Guys version of this with the burgers lol
Holly Dayz
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Five Guys in Las Vegas allowed you to marry there. You can pretty much get married almost anywhere in that city.
Janelle
OMG. Yes. LV is truly some “fast” life though, in style! Never would I have imagined a Taco Bell like this. I say “NAILED IT!” Lol.
Holly Dayz
They did a great job and it looked like they really enjoyed it. I said Nailed It too.
Carol Colborn
Nice wedding! Never would have thought an upscale Taco Bell for a venue! But Vegas, yes!
Holly Dayz
Love Vegas. You can have any type of wedding there. Taco Bell looked nice.
Linda
This was interesting to read. I always think of Vegas for shotgun type weddings. Not full dress events. I would never have thought of trying someplace called Taco Bell! But great to be able to get married in a spot that is perfect for you. And a flourless chocolate torte is the perfect wedding cake!
Holly Dayz
Nope, Las Vegas has all types of weddings from the most simplest to the most extravagent. Couples can really personalize their marraiges or have someone handle everything for them. I love the creativity I have seen from different weddings in Vegas. It is always important for the couple to do what is best for them, not everyone else. That cake looked great.

What a unique idea for a wedding location! I love how the couple made it special and still light-hearted …
Holly Dayz
It was very unique. Looks like they had a great time which is the most important thing.

Seriously? I just called my daughter and asked her to bring me some Taco Bell home with her five minues before readigng this. LOL I love it! Vegas is the perfect place to go all out “cheesy” and do something original.I am typically a big Debbie Downer at weddings because they are all the same…and boring. I would love to have attended this one! One of my besties got married at a chapel in Vegas and it was a hoot! The Elvis impersonators are a must!
Holly Dayz
Lol that is ironic. It is a sign! More tacobell! You would have enjoyed this one then I am sure. They did it up!

A wedding that costs ten thousand dollars for 27 guests? Wow. However, I think everything’s worth it from the disco bus to the Taco Bell Cantina serving delicious food and of course that very idyllic cocktail recpetion at Mandala Bay. Wishing this couple a great life ahead.
Hope they also share their Carribean cruise honeymoon photos and experience.
Holly Dayz
She really took care of her guests and they had a great time. Seems like they did a lot of things over multiple days rather than spending it all on one day like many people do.
Jenni
I meant to say that also included our flight and hotel costs (for the bride and groom) and pretty much anything I spent money on that was wedding related. Since our guests were traveling for our wedding we wanted to provide as much as we could. Hence the dinner and party bus the night before and brunch the day after.
Claire
Vegas isn’t Vegas without Elvis! I love weddings, and this is clearly just what the bride & groom wanted. I would never have thought about Taco Bell as a wedding venue but hey, it’s Vegas and you can do anything you like there! I wish them all the best for their future together 🙂
Holly Dayz
I wouldn’t have thought of it either, but it seems pretty cool. Very true, Vegas is a good time.
Kiwi
This is definitely an unconvential wedding! Hey I bet it sure did save some money!
Holly Dayz
I am sure it did, but they had a fun few days instead of just a one day event. Sounded like a great time!
Mimi Green
This is clearly not your average Taco Bell. It looks really nice, I’m not mad at it. I am fascinated by the various ways people say I do. I believe in the no traditional celebrations.
ShaBree Henry
I would have never imagined this was a TacoBell. The wedding was beautiful.
Jenni
Thank you! I think everyone was a little scared at first when I told them we were getting married at a Taco Bell, but it really is a nice looking place and people were quite surprised!
Nadalie Bardo
If this was something I’d heard about, I would have said, there is NO way that would work. No way it would be a beautiful ceremony. BUT, I’ve officially been proven wrong.
Ola
Now THIS is a new one on me. Who knew a Taco Bell could look this good?! I am absolutely floored!
Jim Whittemore
Such a different concept, I kinda like it. I know this location very well as I frequent the area a lot…I don’t think I ever saw this done while I was out there, so I was shocked when I read this! Looks nice up there. Congrats to you two!
Nisha
What a unique idea for a wedding location! Never thought of Vegas on those lines. I want to get married again now! Elvis coming and entertaining everyone must have been very fascinating. Taco Bell way to go!
Astrid Vinje
What a fun way to do a wedding! Destination weddings are a great way to keep costs down, and Vegas is a perfect destination for grown-ups. I love the hangover kit as party favors!
Katherine G
Now this is my kind of wedding. I love how simple yet elegant it was. They splurged on what was important to them and everyone still had a great time.
Elaine Masters
Well, that’s different. I’d have to love Vegas to want that kind of wedding there. It certainly sounds fun and affordable. The Bride and Groom made it easy for their family and friends. Nicely done.
Jaye
Gorgeous bride & Taco Bell? Who would have thunk it…
Lauren Floyd
Ha! After investing entirely too much time and money on my wedding, I can really appreciate those off the beaten path. Plus, I love weddings that really speak to who the couple is.
Suruchi Mittal
What a unique, simple yet luxurious idea of wedding. She definitely looks super pretty and I loved those DIY hampers. They are pretty amazing for the after party.
