  • It is #flashbackfriday and this heat wave makes me think back to when I visited St. Louis, Missouri. It was in the 100s that day. Ride shares were our friend that day. Waiting for the bus in the heat wasn’t an option lol. Even though it was hot we decided to check out the roof top of the City Museum before hanging out in the cool inside area. This place is so much fun. If you are in STL go, especially if you have kids. There are a lot of changes coming to Vegas. Looking forward to see how it all shapes up. Wondering what some of those changes are? New hotels, hotel rebrandings and renovations. SLS is now the Sahara. The Stratosphere is now The Strat. Cesars Entertainment is selling to El Dorado and they will be selling some of their properties. The Hawaiian Marketplace was just purchased.   • While visiting Chincoteague we headed over to the Assateague Lighthouse. It is located on the Virginia side of Assateague Island. It is preserved by the Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge. It was built in 1867 and is 142 feet.
