Traveling & Music with Noel Gourdin
Episode 2
On this episode my guest is singer/song writer Noel Gourdin. Noel gives some insight into his hometown of Brockton, Massachusetts and what he feels you should do in and around the city. Noel also talks about his recent move to Southern California and what he has been getting into since living there.
I got the chance to ask him about his thoughts on the current music scene, 3 items he must travel with, and how the cities he has lived in have differed within the music scene. Noel even divulged some of his song writing process and much more.
Noel Gourdin
Noel hit the music scene with his hit single The River which stayed on the Urban AC charts for 15 weeks at #1. Noel was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, but spent his summers with his grandparents in Mississippi. With this upbringing Noel is said to be city at heart, but southern to his soul.
He was signed to Sony Music and a few years later his debut album After My Time dropped in 2008. Since then he has had his music featured on television and movies such as The Cookout, Love N Success, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Following that Noel has released 2 other albums, performed in many different places, made more chart topping songs, and worked with some great artists.
