5 Wedding Venues in Lake Tahoe to Consider
Lake Tahoe is an enchanting destination that straddles state lines between Nevada and California. Many people visit to ski, snowboard, sledding, and hang out in a cozy retreat during the winter. In the summer swimming, paddle boarding, jet skiing, and more. Between the beauty and the activities, this is a great destination to have your nuptials!
I have teamed up with Hotels.com to bring you 5 beautiful wedding venues in Lake Tahoe. If you are going for fun or to celebrate a wedding, there are many places to stay to fit your needs, desires, and budget.
Tahoe Edgewater Resort
Edgewater is located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. A gorgeous backdrop of the sparkling lake can be found at this venue. There is even a possibility of snowcapped mountains. This is the perfect place for an intimate wedding or one that has up to 500 guests. While very gorgeous the rental fees are for those with a hearty budget.

This venue is located on the California side. The Landing’s rooftop terrace boasts beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. Outdoors not your thing or maybe you want a combination of indoor outdoor, they have you covered with retractable glass walls. If a winter wonderland wedding is more your speed, this is the place for you as The Landing is one of a few year-round places to have an outdoor wedding.
Heavenly Lake View Lodge
One of two mountain tops could be the spot for your wedding with this venue, located on the California side. The views are expansive since it is located 2,000 feet above Lake Tahoe. A gondola ride will bring you to an even higher viewpoint. Heavenly Lake View has 2 outdoor decks, a large bar, and 2 dining rooms. The tent location allows you to be covered in case of weather, but steps away from the beach, giving an indoor-outdoor vibe. This venue also has 262 guest rooms that you and your guests can stay or get ready for the day in. If you are having an intimate gathering or an affair with 225 guests, you are set!
